  • December 7
    Table Area
Kedar grabs the roller from Junia’s hand.  Junia says, “That’s mine.  Give it back! You have to ask first.”  Kedar throws the roller back at Junia  “Hey that hurts.  Don’t do that.”  The teacher talks with Kedar.  He returns to the table and says, “Junia, when you finished give the roller to me.”  Pause.  “Please. Please. Please.”  Junia smiles at him, finishes rolling her play dough and says, “Here you go.  I’m not mad, you’re still my friend.  I’m done.  You can have it now.”  She then goes to the block area and returns with a cylinder block and continues rolling.

Junia enters the classroom, hangs her coat in her cubby, signs in, and sits next to Sasha at the breakfast table.  She says, “Let’s play grocery store today.  Do you want to be the cashier again?  I’ll be the shopper and buy lots of food.”
