Clean up time
The teacher asks Nasir to get his nametag from the block area. Nasir goes to the block area and gets Natasha’s nametag and brings it to the teacher. She says, “Nasir, is this your name?” He nods. Then she shows him the nametag and he laughs and runs back to the block area and returns with his nametag. - September 17
Center time
Nasir stands up and gets his nametag when the teacher holds his up. - October 1
Morning arrival
Nasir accurately finds his name on the sign in sheet and copies the letters in his name. - October 7
Clean up time
As the children clean up, another student takes a toy out of Nasir’s hands. He yells, “No! I can do it myself!” He grabs the toy out of his hand and goes to his cubby and puts the toy in there. He says to another child, “This is my cubby. It has my letter.” (5)
