Regulation of Emotions and BehaviorELS strand indicators

Regulation of emotions and behavior is the children's ability to communicate with others to help regulate their behavior and emotions.

Children adept at regulating motions and behaviors use effective communication instead of actions or physical aggression to express themselves.  Children who struggle with language can express themselves through various other means such as pictures, sign-language, or gestures.
