Prediction

Following observation, children make predictions, try to describe simple cause and effect relationships, and engage in conversations and explorations that allow them to answer questions of interest to them.

As children develop the ability to observe, predict, and draw conclusions, they make new connections and learn new content. This knowledge, in turn, influences the predictions and explorations children generate.
