The teacher set up an experiment with the balance scale and different objects to place in it. She asked Sabrina which side of the scale she thought would go down if she put the heavy cylinder in one side. Sabrina thought about it for a few seconds and was able to figure it out.
The teacher asked, “Which side of the scale do you think will go down if I put the heavy cylinder in this bucket?” Sabrina responded, “Oh, this side, with the heavy one, because it’s heavy.”
Sabrina was smart enough to figure out the answer to the teacher’s question, “Which side of the scale will go down if I put the heavy cylinder in this bucket?” She was right, as usual.
