Today after snack time, Xavier recognized a pattern on the message board. He pointed and said he saw a pattern. The teacher asked him how he knew and he told her.
Xavier pointed to a partial pattern on the message board and said, “A pattern!” After the teacher identified the triangle, circle, triangle, circle pattern, Xavier correctly identified the next two shapes missing at the end.
Xavier demonstrated that he understands patterns when he found one on the message board and knew what came next.
